The Super Falcons of Nigeria sealed their spot in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after a deserving 2–1 win over defending champions South Africa.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade calmly slotted the ball into the net, with Dlamini getting a hand on it before Linda Motlhalo equalised for Banyana Banyana from another penalty on the hour mark.
US-based right-back Michelle Alozie won the game for the Super Falcons with a long-range effort in stoppage time.
