Agbenu family BLASTS insensitive Amoako family emissaries

Date:

The Salifu Amoako family, including the 16-year-old driver, who was involved in the crash that killed two 12-year-olds at East Legon in Accra should be made to face the full weight of the law to serve as a deterrent to others, the grand mother one of the deceased girls has said.

“The boy [16-year-old driver], he must face the law to the full extent so that it will serve as a deterrent. If not, this trend will continue. Parents should be more responsible”, the grand mother said in an interview with Kofi TV.

One of the of the accident victims, Justine Agbenu, the only daughter of her parents, is set to be buried on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

She tragically lost her life after the 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako of Alive Chapel International drove a Jaguar vehicle into a vehicle she was riding in with a friend.

In the interview with Kofi TV Justine’s grand mother accused emissaries of the Salifu Amoako family of being insensitive to their situation.

She explained that a junior pastor from Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako’s church reached out to the family after the accident, but made inappropriate comments regarding the accident.

She recounted that the pastor had approached her son-in-law, expressing the Amoako family’s wish to visit.

However, her son-in-law responded that the matter was in the hands of the police, so a visit was unnecessary.

The junior pastor reportedly replied, “the accident has already happened,” which the grandmother found deeply insensitive, leading to her decision to turn them away.

She further explained that there was no point in further engagement with the pastors since the police were handling the case.

The grandmother called for the Amoako family, including the 16-year-old driver, who was involved in the crash that killed her granddaughter to face the full weight of the law to serve as a deterrent to others.
