The deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, expressed utmost gratitude to the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, following Ghana’s win over Chad.
Known to be innovative, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah invited the Ghana Tourism Authority to partner in the marketing of not only the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium, but also promote the culture of the country.
Abeiku Santana, who has always championed the promotion of everything Ghana in the media circles during his years as a media practitioner, together with the CEO of the GTA, Maame Efua Houadjeto, took on the project to contribute to rekindling the love for the Black Stars following their recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
“I want to thank and commend our brother Yaw Ampofo Ankrah for inviting the Ghana Tourism Authority to partner with the National Sports Authority in marketing and promoting this game. Those who came to the VIP and the VVIP presidential had some local treats, drinks and also entertainment,” Abeiku Santana said in an interview with Max FM’s Nana Darkwa Gyasi.
There were wall cladding displays of Ghanaian traditional symbols, sights and attractions, showing off a few of the beautiful things Ghana possess.
The two governmental organisations objectives and visions for the country align with the current president of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s agenda of resetting the country.
