I don’t sing for competition— Gyakie

Date:

Songbird Jackline Acheampong known in the showbiz circles as Gyakie has asserted that musicians who constantly release songs are doing that out of competition.

According to her, she takes time to carefully prepare her songs before releasing them, a reason she has not been heard in the industry lately.

Gyakie made this assertion in a recent social media post to announce her upcoming debut album, dubbed “After Midnight.”

She said she was not in the industry to compete but to sing soul resonation songs which would delight music enthusiasts and fans, emphasizing the reason she delayed before releasing songs.

“I haven’t released music because i don’t do this to compete or win but rather to genuinely give what i have. I go into my shells so i can give you music that feeds into your soul,” she said.

Though, Gyakie was not physically present on the screens of the public, she knew her voice was making a difference in the industry.

“Also, i might not be physically present in your faces but i believe my voice is constantly in your ears and that brings fulfilment to my heart. keep streaming Gyakie music. the album is coming!” she added.
