Multiple award-winning highlife musician Ofori Amponsah, popularly known as “Mr All 4 Real”, says his protégé, Barosky, is suffering a mental breakdown and needs immediate medical care for his recovery.

‎According to him, he can’t be blamed for the condition and homelessness the artist suffered in the United Kingdom leading him to be deported home.

‎Speaking in an exclusive interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Friday, Ofori Amponsah stated that Barosky’s issue was not just living abroad without having a roof over his head.

‎”Sometimes, things are not as normal and light as how we perceive them. We have to also take care of our mental health because certain things can trigger it. I know how it feels because I have experienced that before. If you don’t take care, you will go crazy because sometimes you are hitting but sometimes you drop and you don’t have any source of income. So what I can say is, his case was not merely about Barosky just living with no roof over his head. It’s something else that I can’t say,” he explained.

‎Ofori Amponsah maintained that Barosky needed immediate medical attention and urged Ghanaians to remember him in prayers.

‎He also explained that he housed Barosky when he was honing his talent in 2007 and left just a year.

‎After parting ways from about 20 years ago, Ofori Amponsah found it absurd that people were dragging his name into the current situation of Barosky and stressed that when he was being trained by the late Highlife legendary Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known by his stage name Daddy Lumba, he worked under him for seven years before he was able to come out.

‎He said he served Daddy Lumba and mellowed whilst Barosky went solo just after a year they worked together, and “he blew in the industry.”

Barosky, known privately as Isaac Obeng Mensah, was found stranded and homeless in Manchester, United Kingdom.

With the help of some Ghanaians, he was safely repatriated to Ghana on September 7, 2026. ‎
