The Portuguese coach does not want to view this long period without a title merely as a statistic.

He is asking his team to examine the reasons behind the lack of success over the past 44 years.

In his view, Ghana must address the issue directly and seek the answers needed to return to the heights of African football.

“Why have we not won the Africa Cup of Nations for 44 years? That is the question we must answer in an honest, professional, and competitive manner,” Carlos Queiroz said.

“We must find the solutions to rebuild this dream and make it a reality,” he added.
