‎Ebo Taylor’s farewell the most peaceful Ghana has witnessed— Bnoskka

Date:

‎Renowned IP consultant and lecturer, Dr Benjamin Oduro Arhin, popularly known as Bnoskka, says Highlife legend Edo Taylor is the musician whose funeral was peaceful and marked unity among his family.

‎According to him, Ebo Taylor’s funeral is the classic among the funerals the country has witnessed from musicians since 2010.

‎Speaking in an exclusive interview on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, Bnoskka explained that the event was well organised with well-decorated events where attendees accessed everything digitally.

‎” The musician whose funeral I witnessed didn’t go well was Dasebre Dwamena. There were lots of discrepancies and stories that didn’t add up as to how he was buried and his funeral was organised. We even had hopes that Daddy Lumba’s funeral would be organised in a grand style, but there were lots of misunderstandings from Team A and B.”

‎”Though, they organized the funeral but they just threw dust into the eyes of the public. For Ebo Taylor, he was laid in state and anyone whole file past him saw that this is the real Ebo Taylor. He was laid in state on Friday for everyone to witness him,” he said.

‎Bnoskka maintained that his surviving 13 children worked together without showing any sign of division and invited the relevant stakeholders to the funeral.

‎He said the performances from Pat Thomas, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Smart Nkansah, Rocky Dawuni, and many other musicians led the chiefs at the place and its environs to dance and see the funeral as impressive.

‎Bnoskka, in addition, said the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ghana Tourism Authority, led by Abeiku Santana, as well as some media houses which set up at the place to interview all musicians who gathered at the funeral, made the event so memorable and termed it a classic funeral devoid of chaos.
