We’re going to give our best— Carlos Queiroz

Date:

Ghana is set to make her fifth appearance at the biggest global football competition in the world in June.

Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Ghana’s Portuguese head coach Carlos Queiroz named the final 26 (27)-man roster.

These players, the best he believes can do the job, are ready to die for the shirt, he affirmed.

Addressing the press and millions of Ghanaians worldwide a day before Ghana faces Wales in a pre-World Cup friendly, Queiroz said, “We’re going to give our best.”

Ghana would be at the World Cup without two big names, Mohammed Kudus and Alexander Djiku, due to injuries.

The Black Stars of Ghana would begin their campaign against Panama on June 17, 2026.
