Shatta Wale announces retirement from the industry

Date:

Controversial dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., known in showbiz circles as Shatta Wale, has disclosed that he has already retired from active music.

‎According to him, he retired three years ago to pay more attention to his Shaxi and Hot Wave businesses.

The self-proclaimed Dancehall King of Ghana said though many still viewed him as a musician, he had been working effortlessly behind the microphone toward the expansion of a massive, multi-sector business empire designed to secure generational wealth.

‎He further hints at an upcoming financial tech rollout, whose e-commerce app had been launched to kickstart the business.
