Veteran actor Ricky Kofi Adelayitar has advised Kwadwo Nkansah, known in the movie industry as Lil Win, to rethink his decision of playing old men’s roles in movies.
According to him, that will affect his future career, in that in his old age, people will not find him interesting anymore.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Max Morning Show in Accra on Thursday, the renowned actor noted that though Lil Win playing an old man’s role was not entirely wrong, it should rather be a disguise, not a regular role for an actor in his youthful years.
”Lil Win is a talented actor. I see people condemn him, but Lilwin is a very good actor. He should consider playing roles that reflect his actual age instead of continuing to portray older characters. Otherwise, when you try to play old man and you grow old and you’re now playing an old man, nobody will see it as anything captivating,” he cautioned.
Adelayitar maintained that if someday they were looking for his youthful movie, there would be no data to indicate his youthful roles and expressed the need for him to rethink his decision of acting old in movies.
