Former Arsenal FC striker Eddie Keddar Nketiah has reacted to Ghana following wild speculation of his interest in joining the Black Stars for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Now with South London club Crystal Palace, the English-born son of Ghanaian parents was at the Best of Africa Awards held in England’s capital.
Reacting after receiving an award for his contributions in the African community in the United Kingdom, Nketiah, expressing his love for Ghana, described the country as a bit better than other African countries.
“Ghana has many amazing people, and we have some talented artists, talented football players and talented people in general. I just think they are a bit better than many African countries,” Nketiah said.
Black Stars forward Fatawu Issahaku was also in attendance; the famous Ghanaian twin photographers, Twinsdontbeg, were in charge of photography.
