Veteran Sound Engineer, Fred Kyei Mensah known popularly as Fredyma has confirmed that many musical groups had fallen off due to women.
According to him, the long held belief that the fight over one woman among members of musical groups had over the years contributed to its collapse is true.
The Music Producer confirmed this in a phone interview with Max Morning Dew on Max 89.7Fm last Friday when he was sharing his opinion on the topic “Broken Bonds Of Fame.”
”It’s true that the fight over one woman among musicians from music groups had created a rift, leading to its collapse,” he re-echoed.
Fredyma observed that years ago, women were not joined to trips of musical bands embarking on musical shows in order not to create unnecessary attention and rift among members.
”When you join a woman to shows of bands, the organist will be eyeing the woman, the singer will be eyeing her, another person will be eyeing the same woman and this breeds confusion among them,” he stated.
Fredyma noted that the collapse of groups had dire repercussions on musical careers of singers as fans always found it difficult to adopt and accept them as solo singers.
