In a rematch for the undisputed heavyweight title, unbeaten WBC/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) regained his IBF heavyweight title from “Dynamite” Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) with a fifth round knockout on Saturday night before 90,000+ spectators at Wembley Stadium in London.
The 38-year-old Usyk picked DuBois apart, dropping him twice in round five to end it. Dubois was counted out at 1:52. Usyk previously stopped Dubois in nine two years ago.
In the co-feature, former WBO cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie (22-1, 16 KOs) scored a one-sided ten round unanimous decision over Kevin Lerena 31-3, 15 KOs).
The 6’5, 262lb Okolie kept the shorter Larena on the outside en route to a 99-91, 100-90, 100-90 nod.
