Criss Waddle condemns Sammy Gyamfi over Agradaa dollar gift

Date:

Musician, Criss Waddle, has described  Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), as “unprofessional” over a dollar gift to Nana Agradaa in a viral video.‎

‎The video, which has gained widespread backlash, captured the politician counting and handing over several dollar bills to the sooth sayer turned pastor.

‎Agradaa known in real life as Patricia Oduro Koranteng, allegedly requested dollar notes from Sammy Gyamfi in his car and he also counted and gave the money to her.

‎Reacting to this, the “Ayi” hitmaker in a  social media post called the move “unprofessional and insensitive.”

‎“Let’s not make excuses for Sammy Gyamfi, we need the best behaviour from our politicians, he messed up big time. Having dollars in the car alone is bad for your position, let alone gifting it out when some grass-root party members self no chop,” he wrote.

‎Criss Waddle maintained that such public displays of wealth could damage trust in political leadership, especially with the current hardship the citizens were facing.

‎The video continued to stir debate online, with calls for political figures to lead by example and act in ways that reflect the struggles of the people they represent.
