Asante Kotoko to appoint Karim Zito as new head coach

Date:

Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito is set to be announced as new head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

This follows after the swift sacking of Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum as head coach of the Kumasi-based Ghanaian giants.

Poor on-field performances coupled with alleged questionable leadership and bad man management, Kotoko deemed it appropriate to part ways with their former title-winning coach in his second stint at the club.

Zito will be a welcomed addition to the Porcupine family, especially with his superb track record on both home soil and at the continental stage.

Reliable sources have confirmed to max.com.gh of Zito’s arrival in the capital of the Ashanti Region to steer the club towards the league and cup double.

Asante Kotoko have dropped to fourth on the league standings after winning just one of their last five games and are six points away from the top spot.
