The Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, has shared the importance of the Black Stars of Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Otto Addo and his men converged at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, March 17, 2025, to kick off preparations for Ghana’s game against Chad on Friday.
Hon. Kofi Adams, along with the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), was at the stadium to witness the available players of the Black Stars train.
Speaking to the media, he stressed on the need for Ghana to battle with the best the world has to offer at the biggest football competition to be hosted by Mexico, Canada, and United States of America.
“I need Black Stars qualification to the World Cup. The qualification is like the air we breathe,” he said.
The Black Stars are level on points with Comoros, but sit behind them in second place. Ghanaians would be hoping Comoros stumble in their qualifiers for the Black Stars to move to the top.
