Habib Iddrisu didn’t make a mockery of the creative industry—KOKA

Date:

Entertainment pundit, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, known popularly as KOKA says there’s nothing wrong with the comments made by the First Deputy Minority, Whip Habib Iddrisu about the movie industry.

It could be recalled that during John Dumelo’s vetting for Deputy Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture, he was advised to take his political career seriously, noting that his new role was far different from his work in the movie industry.

Many in the industry cracked the whip against the Deputy Minority leader for littling the creative art sector while it even has the tendency of boosting the country’s economy.

However, according to KOKA, the advice Iddrisu gave to Dumelo was not out of malice but to encourage him to take his job seriously as a young minister.

KOKA said this during a zoom interview with Max TV during the e-Quick entertainment show on Thursday.

He said the comments of Iddrisu followed Dumelo’s demeanor and acts he committed over the years as a politician which the Whip might have deduced that he was still acting in the movie industry.

KOKA noted that Dumelo was involved in V8 scandal and also accused the former Ayawaso West Wuogon MP of being the killer of her own husband.

“John Dumelo has built a certain image for himself ever since his issue of V8 came to the public. John Dumelo claimed in NDC party, the knowledgeable ones are in the higher positions whilst the unknowledgeable ones were down there.”

“He also accused the former Ayawaso West MP of being the murderer of her husband without correcting all those things,” he said.

That, KOKA observed might have made Iddrisu think the actor was still taking politics on a lighter note just like how he behaved in the movie industry, hence his advice.
