Media personality Gloria Akpene Nyarku known in the industry as MzGee has officially declared that she is divorced from her husband, Raymond Acquah.
According to her, she has been divorced for two years after three years of separation.
Speaking in a vlog shared on YouTube on February 27, to address the paternity of her son, MzGee said she did not want her son to grow having confused thoughts over his paternity.
She admitted being married to Acquah but she no longer bore the Acquah surname and advised the public to address her by her maiden name.
MzGee expressed frustrations about how people kept attaching her to her former husband, adding that he was not the father of her son which she recently gave birth to.
“Once upon a time, you knew a certain Raymond Acquah whom I was married to. Unfortunately, we have been separated for three years and officially divorced for two years. So, I have no ties with him.”
“Now, there’s a son involved and I don’t want him growing up confused about his paternity. When people ask who his father is, he should not say Raymond Acquah, no! I have no connection with him anymore,” she added
MzGee and Raymond married in 2017 but she revealed childbirth struggles and a series of miscarriages in 2022.
