African Games gold medallist Jerry Afriyie has signed with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah FC from Thoughts FC.
The national under-20 star will be joining Spanish second-tier side CD Lugo on loan from Al-Qadsiah.
Born and bred in Tano, Ahafo Region, Afriyie made his name during the 2023 African Games under head coach Desmond Offeh for Ghana, where he scored the winner against Uganda in the final.
Otto Addo invited him to join the senior national team, the Black Stars, during the latter stages of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
He scored his first senior international goal against Niger at Accra Sports Stadium on November 18, 2024, in the last qualifying match for the 2025 AFCON.
