Samuel Anim Addo, a former member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council, has been formally charged by the GFA for violating the association’s regulations following comments he made on the social media platform X.
The GFA has accused Anim Addo of misconduct, asserting that his remarks tarnished the reputation of both the Association and the Ghana Premier League. Specifically, the charges stem from statements made by Anim Addo in which he accused a match official of inappropriate conduct during the Ghana Premier League match between Accra Lions and Dreams FC.
The charges, detailed under Articles 34(6)(d) and 38(8)(c) of the GFA Ghana Premier League Regulations, highlight the breach of conduct and the potential damage caused to the integrity of the league.
