2024 Elections: Seven out of nine disputed constituencies settled

Date:

On Saturday, December 21, 2024, the Electoral Commission (EC) completed the re-collation of seven out of nine disputed constituencies of the 2024 general polls.

The seven constituencies completed and won by the New Patriotic Party are Nsawam-Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region, Ahafo Ano South West, Ahafo Ano North, and Obuasi East, all in the Ashanti Region, Tema Central in the Greater Accra Region, and Techiman South in the Bono East Region.

According to the Electoral Commission, earlier declarations of the aforementioned constituencies were flawed and thus need for the re-collation.
