Renowned rapper Medikal has declared intentions of doing a solo project next year without collaborating with any artiste.
According to him, he channeled his career path to do major features this year to pave the way for a solo path in 2025.
Speaking in a media interview, the “Omo Ada” hitmaker declared 2025 as a selfish year where everything would be about him and his music.
“Next year I will not go do features. Ego be very selfish year for myself because this year I did a lot of features,” he said in Pidgin.
Medikal also revealed intentions to do the long-awaited collaboration with his rival rapper Eno Barony before this year comes to a close, as 2025 would officially be off-limits for features.
In 2024, Medikal was one of the musicians who had a busy and productive year with various collaborations with a diverse range of artists, including Beeztrap KOTM, Kwesi Amewuga, Kofi Mole, Uncle Rich, and even dancehall king Shatta Wale.
This output suggested that Medikal had actively been contributing to the Ghanaian music scene through collaborations and wanted to chart a new path in 2025.
