Accompanying the team were Team Manager Ameenu Shardow, Director of Communications Henry Asante Twum, and GFA Foundation Director Malcom Appeadu. Emphasizing the importance of community outreach, Ayew stated, “We believe that lending a hand of support is divine…

Today, we thought it wise to come over here and support you.” He also requested the students’ prayers ahead of their crucial match against Angola, saying, “We seek your prayers and support going into our crucial game.”

The team’s visit included donations of food, water, and an undisclosed sum of money, which brought joy to the students. This gesture underscores the Black Stars’ commitment to making a positive impact beyond the field by supporting communities and fostering goodwill.

Ghana remains determined to secure wins against Angola and Niger in their remaining 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, while hoping for Sudan’s setbacks to aid their qualification for the tournament in Morocco.

Speaking to ghanafa.org, Ayew explained the purpose of the visit: “On behalf of the Ghana Football Association, the Black Stars Technical team, and my colleagues, we came here to spend time with you and to offer our little support as part of our contribution to your growth.”
