The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has arrested Newwel Gavu, a suspect in the vandalism of a monument and several signposts at the Airport Roundabout in Accra. Gavu is currently in custody awaiting prosecution.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Police commended the public and Airport security for their vigilance, which led to the suspect’s arrest.
