#BlackStarsAbroad: Ayew, Fatawu suffer defeat at Craven Cottage

Date:

Leicester City traveled to Craven Cottage in London to take on Fulham at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon in matchday two of the 2024-25 Premier League.

Steve Cooper, the manager for Leicester City, started Ghanaian winger, Issahaku Fatawu in the right wing-back position, while the deputy Black Stars captain, Jordan Ayew, was on the bench.

Former Arsenal youngsters Emile Smith-Rowe and Alex Iwobi scored to hand Fulham a win, as Leicester could manager a consolation goal through Belgian defender, Faux.

Jordan Ayew’s introduction into first game in the 63rd for the Foxes did not pose any real threat as the home side netted the winner seven minutes later.
