Controversial Local actor Big Akwes has asserted that there is no virgin in Ghana who is over 25 years old.
He said all women are already consumed in bed and expressed the need for every man to be sleeping around with them before making the big decision to marry them.
Speaking in a recent interview with Max Morning in Accra on Tuesday, the Kumawood actor observed that the Bible only declares that for a man to marry a woman, they must have broken their virginity.
He said no woman in Ghana was now a virgin for a man to be compelled to marry them before tasting them in bed.
The sex before marriage practice, Big Akwes insisted, was solely for the virgins, not the recent crop of women who had already been devoured by several men.
“The Bible made it clear in Exodus 20:16 that a man who knows a virgin in bed should send her home. If the woman’s family looked at him and thought he was good enough to be a husband, they would demand he marry their daughter, but if he did not meet the family’s standard, they would set an amount for him to pay. But where is the virgin in Ghana now? There’s no virgin in Ghana who is 25 years old,” he insisted.
Big Akwes instigated that there was no woman in the country who could boldly declare that a man married her before knowing her in bed.
“Let’s add curses to it if women who had been lying that they married before having sex could proudly speak up again. There is no virgin in Ghana,” he asserted.
