The Black Princesses, Ghana’s U20 women’s national team, have departed for Colombia to prepare for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup starting August 31.
This marks their seventh consecutive appearance at the tournament. Drawn in Group E with Japan, New Zealand, and Austria, Ghana’s campaign begins against Austria on September 2.
The team, which won African Games gold in March, has been training at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence and in Cape Coast.
