CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, is expected to attend the funeral of Issa Hayatou, former president of the Confederation, in Garoua this week.
The mortal remains of the longest-ever serving president of the Confederation of African Football would arrive in Yaounde on Thursday, August 15, before being transported to his hometown, Garoua.
Hayatou, who died last Friday, a day before his 78th birthday, following a long battle with an illness, will be taken to the Quartier de Lac, where his home is, for the funeral.
The funeral will begin today, August 14, at the Funerarium Mont Du Valerien in Nante, France, before arring at the Nsimalen International Airport at 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 15.
