#BeachSoccerAFCONQ: Black Sharks beat Ivory Coast to qualify for AFCON

Date:

The Black Sharks of Ghana have completed a double victory over the Sand Elephants of Ivory Coast to qualify for the 2024 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Down by two goals to one in the first period in Abidjan, the Ghanaians restored parity through Wise Nyamadi in the second period.

Captain of Ghana Alex Osah stunned the home fans at the Stade de L’Agora de Port-Bouet when he shot his side into the lead for the first time in the game.

Precious Torbgor extended the Sharks’ lead before Jude Akile hammered the final nail into the Elephants’ coffin to seal a magnificent comeback win on the white sands on the coast of Abidjan.

IMAX Media extends its massive congratulations to its Head of Sports and the chairman of the Beach Soccer Federation, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah.
