2024 BECE: 2 DEAD, 2 INVIGILATORS AND 3 TEACHERS CAUGHT

Authorities report that two students have lost their lives, and exam officials have arrested three invigilators and two teachers as the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) faces disruption.

Tragedy strikes on exam day as a fatal accident claims the life of one BECE candidate from Kanuwlou Basic School and leaves another fighting for their life.

Meanwhile, 3 teachers in Bekwai and 2 invigilators in Bono Region have been arrested for alleged exam malpractice, and they are to face serious consequences, including criminal charges and termination of service.

As the exams continue, concerns have risen regarding the integrity of the examination process and the student’s well-being.
