#MaxEntertainment: Chris Attoh to debut new movie, “Nine”

Date:

Renowned Ghanaian filmmaker Chris Attoh has unveiled his latest project, the movie “NINE,” which features a stellar cast and crew from across Africa and Hollywood.

The film follows a homicide detective who travels to Ghana to get to the bottom of a series of killings there and uncovers a supernatural conspiracy.

In an interview with Belinda Quansah, Chris Attoh noted that his biggest challenge was getting the right kind of collaboration for the movie.

“It’s hard to tell the stories we want to tell effectively without collaborations like that,” he said.

He noted that over 160 Ghanaian crew members were employed during the production.

However, he acknowledged the challenges encountered during filming.

“Every single day was challenging,” he said.

He highlighted that collaborating with Hollywood production teams is crucial for effective storytelling.

He also emphasized the need for more financial resources to be pumped into Ghanaian films in order to produce high-quality content.

“We need money pumped into these films,” he stated.

“We need your resources so that whatever we’re churning out can be beautiful.”

“Nine” is an international fantasy thriller from Silver Lining Entertainment, with Angela White at the helm as producer and Vinny Curry as co-executive producer.

Directed and produced by Chris Attoh, who also graces the film with his performance, the movie stars actors from South Africa, Nigeria, America, and Ghana, including Kate Henshaw, Rosemary Zimu, Chris Attoh, and Damien D. Smith.

Other notable talents, such as Chasity Saunders, Juliet Ibrahim, Adjetey Anang, Zynnel Zuh, Sika Osei, Gideon Kojo Boakye, Ijeoma Grace Agu, Pascal Aka, and Darlyn Adu-Gyamfi, also star in the movie.
