On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association, was presented with the report and recommendations of the Black Stars head coach search committee.
The Executive Council will consider the search committee’s recommendations before selecting the next coach of the Black Stars.
Following Ghana’s humiliating group stage exit at the 2023 AFCON, the Executive Council, led by Vice President of the Ghana Football Association Mark Addo, along with Professor Joseph Kwame Minta, Opoku Nti, and William Kartey, Chief Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was tasked with finding the country’s next coach.
