Afro-dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known popularly as Shatta Wale, has announced plans to support embattled friends Funny Face and Moesha Boduong.
According to him, he will acquire two Shaxi cars for them to use for online-hailing ride services for six months.
This, he noted, would provide a sustainable source of income for the comedian and the socialite.
The “Melissa” hitmaker explained that Shaxi cars generated weekly revenue between GH¢800 and GH¢1200, which could ease the financial burden of his colleagues.
He said his manager, Sammy Flex, would contact the management of Funny Face and Moesha to finalize the arrangements.
Shatta Wale described Moesha as his sister, stressing that it was his responsibility to ease the financial burden on her family.
It could be recalled that Moesha’s brother had created a “GoFundMe” account to seek support for the actress, explaining that she was suffering from a stroke after hitting her head, which has affected his mobility and speech.
Moesha is currently hospitalized, while Funny Face was also soliciting financial aid from the public to visit his children, whom he claimed had not set eyes on them for years.
