George Weah trained me on how to score goals – Prince Tagoe

Former Black Stars striker Prince Tagoe has disclosed that he was trained by Liberian President George Weah on how to score goals.

Tagoe speaking on the Black Stars Classics on Max TV said George Weah who is a Balon D’Or winner use to train with his team Midtjylland at Mamobi in Accra.

Weah according to Tagoe, taught he and two other strikers how to score goals, techniques to use and also showed them clips of how to convert chances.

“George Weah used to come and train with us when I was at Midtjylland he trained me on how to score goals, after training he would take us home slot in a CD and show us how he used to score his goals. I use to leave his house late. He was the one who even made me play for Accra Hearts of Oak, he told them I was good and needed a big club and it happened”

Tagoe 33, played for Hearts of Oak, Ittihad, Bursaspor among others.

He also played 36 times and scored 7 goals in the process.
