MAX NEWS: Failatu commences longest cooking marathon attempt in Tamale

Date:

The new year 2024 has begun with Ghanaian restauranteur Failatu Abdul-Razak commencing her attempt to set up a Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest cooking marathon.

This is coming days after Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum ended her sing-a-thon in an attempt to break the world record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.

Failatu Abdul-Razak started her attempt on January 1, 2024, at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, in the Northern Region.
She is aiming to clock 120 hours to break the existing Irish record holder, Chef Alan Fisher’s remarkable feat of 119 hours and 57 minutes.

She has currently completed 12 hours of her official attempt, and her team is calling on Ghanaians and celebrities in other parts of the country to be at the venue in their numbers to support Failatu in her bid.
