The Black Queens squad is focused on defeating Namibia in Friday’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final round first leg qualifier, according to coach Nora Hauptle.
During a press conference on Thursday, Nora mentioned that the Queens had been incredibly enthusiastic since they started getting ready for the match.
She continued by saying that the girls are excited about playing in front of their home supporters, but she also issued a warning that winning on Friday would need teamwork.
Two years before, Ghana had failed after falling to rivals Nigeria 2-1 over two legs.
On Friday, December 1, 2023, the first leg of the qualifications versus Namibia will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium.
