Akwaboah, the ‘Mesan Agye Wo’ singer, expressed his discontent over the fact that Ghana television channels are full of sexual enhancement products, stating that it damages the reputation of the black race as unproductive.
“Ghana, what is the problem? I was here making plans for my upcoming Lighthouse album. I was tired, so I decided to watch television to take some stress off. All the TV stations I tuned in were all advertising sex-enhancing medicines”, he lamented.
“It was all about when you take this drug, you can perform for a long time.”Now, I want to know: are all the men in Ghana sexually weak? Does this mean that, as for the black race, we don’t have productive things to talk about and that all we know and talk about is sex?”, he added.
He continued by saying, “When are we going to teach people to be financially viable or teach them about God? I think it’s about time we changed the narrative. Sex shouldn’t be all that we think about.
A number of Akwaboah’s followers commented on the post agreeing with the singer/songwriter, with most saying that it is irritating.
