CAF CONF. CUP: Ghana’s Dreams FC arrive in Monrovia ahead of Kallon FC clash

Ghana Premier League side, Dreams Football Club have arrived safely in Monrovia, Liberia for the second leg fixture against Kallon FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Last weekend the Dawu-based club hosted the opponent in the first leg of the tie at the Accra Sports Stadium.

At the end of a very good performance in Ghana, Dreams Football Club secured a 2-1 victory at the end of 90 minutes.

Since Monday, the Ghanaian club has been preparing for the reverse fixture of the tie away from home.

Early on Thursday morning, the side departed Ghana for Liberia where the second leg will be played.

After hours of travel, Dreams FC have this evening arrived in Monrovia.

The team is checking into their hotel and will have the chance to train on Friday, September 28.

All players in the 18-man squad named by Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito are geared up to fight hard for the club.

The Ghanaian MTN FA Cup champions are keen on winning at the end of the two legs to advance to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The game between Kallon FC and Dreams FC is scheduled to be played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex on Saturday, September 30.
