Date:

Renowned Ga musician, King Jerry, has expressed readiness to battle Braimah Kamoko, known popularly as Bukom Banku in court for unlawfully using his music promote his political agenda.

According to him, Bukom Banku has done rendition of his song, titled: “Obaa Gbo Oshi” which literary means “you will die and leave it behind,” to campaign for the opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a video which King Jerry posted on his Facebook page and has since gone viral, the musician condemned the act and termed it as uncalled for.

He explained that the popular boxer has performed rendition of his track which he released in the year 2020 on various platforms without seeking his consent.

“How can you take my song, shoot a video with it campaigning for NDC without my consent?” he queried.

In regard to this, King Jerry lamented that Bukom Banku has gone far and threatened to file a lawsuit against him.

“You have taken my song to do a video for NDC campaigning without telling me anything. ‘Obaa Gbo Oshi’ is not your song and you are not featured in that song… This time around you have gone too far, so get ready for my lawyer champ,” he added.
