The technical staff of the Black Stars has given KRC Genk winger Joseph Painstil permission to return to his club in Belgium owing to an injury received during the league match against Anderlecht last weekend.
He will unfortunately be unable to take part in the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Central African Republic and will instead start his recovery with his club.
