Ghanaian socialite and celebrity Afia Schwarzenegger, featuring on UTV’s United Showbiz on the 10th of July, 2022 recorded that, Reggie Rockstone should respect his status as the Grandpapa of Hiplife music before he demands that respect from Ghanaians.
The founder of Ghana’s Hiplife Music responding to a question on Hitz FM if he felt disrespected about some mistakes on an Afrobeat documentary on Netflix revealed that, the only people who have disrespected him are Ghanaians with the support of the media.
He stated the Afrobeat documentary that records he started Hiplife in 1999 had it wrong and quoted the accurate year as 1993.
In Afia’s opinion, Reggie Rockstone’s statement about Ghanaians disrespecting him may be true but he did that damage to himself.
Leaving his title as the Grandpapa of Hiplife Music to join VVIP brought that adverse effect and therefore advised him to respect his status before asking Ghanaians to respect him.
