After Ghana’s withdrawal and dismal performance at the present 33rd Africa Cup of Nations, the Black Stars management committee was abolished.
After the Black Stars technical and management committees gave their findings on Tuesday, the Ghana Football Association Executive Council met today to review their work.
Following a meeting between officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association on Friday, the existing Black Stars management committee was disbanded.
According to a statement released by the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday, January 26th, a new management committee would be formed following consultation with all relevant parties.
Ghana’s Black Stars finished the Africa Cup of Nations with just one point after three games in Group C, losing to Morocco, drawing with Gabon’s Panthers, and losing to debutants Comoros Islands in the final game.
