Date:

Accra Hearts of Oak beat Accra Lions 2-0 in a match day 9 game in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) .

The game was played at the Cape Coast Stadium as the Accra Sports Stadium is currently undergoing renovation.

After a goalless first half, Coach Samuel Boadu introduced Kofi Kodzi into the game and he gave Hearts the lead after a rebound.

The second goal followed soon and after some neat play, Afriyie Barnie found a way to beat the Accra Lions goalkeeper to make it 2-0.
