UEFA Champions League newcomers Brest stunned Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg in a massive away performance on Tuesday.

Abdallah Sima opened the flood gates for the French Ligue 1 side with a 24th-minute opener, and despite the relentless pressure from the home side, Mahdi Camara took advantage of a mistake by the hosts to double the visitors’ lead six minutes after the hour mark.

The Brighton on-loan striker, Sima, bagged his brace and Brest’s third of the night after smartly tapping home a rebound.

Super-sub Mathias Pereira completed the thrashing seconds after coming on to give the French team their second win in Europe’s elite championship, after a 2-1 win over Sturm Graz at home.
