2024-25 PL: Graham Potter to become next boss for Ayew, Fatawu, and co at Leicester

Date:

Former Chelsea gaffer Graham Potter has been linked to the vacant Leceister City manager job after Steve Cooper was dismissed over the weekend.

With the Foxes one point above the relegation, the board of the 2015-16 Premier League winners decided it was an appropriate time to let go of Cooper, who was sacked by Nottingham Forest in December 2023.

Talksport has reported that key players of the Leicester City squad, including Conor Coady and Harry Winks, were not convinced by the appointment of Cooper over the summer after former manager Enzo Maresca left for Chelsea.

Tabloids in Denmark reveal a number of the Foxes had partied in club in Copehagen just before their 1-2 loss to Chelsea on Saturday lunch kick-off at the King Power Stadium.

Former Manchester United interim manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy has also been mentioned to be in the running to become next manager for Leicester.
