Legendary South African singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, will perform alongside hip-hop legend Okyeame Kwame, highlife icon George Jahraa, and Adane Best in this year’s African Legends Night.
Powered by Global Media Alliance, the event will take place on October 5 at the Grand Arena Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
This year’s legendary night, which is poised to celebrate musicians in Africa, is picking up momentum as its tickets are already out for sale.
With the incredible line-up to grace the stage, each legend has his or her own unique musical style, flow, and influence to turn patrons on.
With Yvonne Chaka Chaka, known as the “Princess of Africa,” leading the lineup, excitement is already building as fans anticipate a night filled with timeless hits, rich cultural expressions, and a celebration of Africa’s musical heritage.
Ghanaian musicians George Jahraa and Adane Best, both known for their exceptional contributions to the local music, will add an element of nostalgia and national pride to the night.
The “Rap Doctor,” Okyeame Kwame, who is vested with fresh and dynamic energy, will crown the night with his non-stop back-to-back hit tracks to captivate the audience in an unforgettable night of music and celebration.
The event, since its inception, has paid tribute to Africa’s finest musicians, providing a platform for seasoned artists and emerging talents to connect with audiences across generations.
It has also featured some of the continent’s most celebrated artists, including Hugh Masekela, Femi Kuti, Freddie Meiway, Kanda Bongoman, Amakye Dede, and Daddy Lumba, among others.
