The General Manager of Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Nations FC, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, has announced his club’s readiness for the new season ahead.
Nations FC finished fifth on the 2024/25 GPL standings after having come close to clinching the title, exchanging the leadership spot with eventual winners Bibiani Gold Stars.
The Abrankese-based club are currently in Samraboi for the pre-season tournament Nsenkyire Cup, where they will be facing host FC Samartex, Aduana Stars, and Dreams FC.
In an interview with Nana Darkwa Gyasi on Max FM’s Sports Pack show on Thursday, August 28, Mr Ansah said, “We are ready for the GPL.”
Nations began their pre-season training on July 16 in Abrankese before moving to Accra and then to Samraboi for the tournament, which its technical team would use to assess the state of the squad.
“Nsenkyire Cup will help the coach assess the team,” said the seasoned sports administrator.
