Tinny warns against mentorship

Date:

Ga rapper, Nii Addo Quaynor known by his stage name Tinny says not everyone is born to mentor someone.

‎According to him, mentorship is a call and not everyone is born for such a purpose.

‎Tinny said this in a recent media interview where he cautioned the public against forcing people to mentor others as that act could backfire.

‎“I believe that mentorship comes naturally. Don’t force it to happen. If you force it to happen, you’ll end up just like a Catholic priest who commits adultery. It is not your calling, it comes naturally so don’t force yourself to mentor someone or to give a crown to someone.”

‎“And it is not everyone who deserves a mentoring crown. Mentoring somebody is on point, it is cool but e not be gidigidi like that,” he said.

‎Tinny indicated that humans were born to follow their own purpose and aspirations, thus people ought to respect individual differences without tolling each other’s lane.
