The silence rise of Dutch teams in Europe

Date:

The Dutch teams are clearly making a name for themselves in Europe by winning the Champions League and Europa League.

Feyenoord and PSV are making waves in the 2024-25 Champions League, upsetting top clubs in Serie A, including AC Milan and Juventus.

While in the Europa League, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, and FC Twente are making waves as they strive to earn their spots in the round of 32.

Mokio became the third youngest goal scorer at age 16 years and 350 days in the Europa League when he scored Ajax’s second goal against Union St. Gilloise in the first leg of the playoff round.

FC Twente would be heading into the second leg away against Bodo/Glimt in a six-game unbeaten run, with a 2-1 lead.

The Dutch Eredivisie is closer to having a European champion this season since the last time Ajax won the Champions League in 1995.
