The Black Stars of Ghana appear buoyed to take on Los Cafeteros of Colombia at dawn this Saturday in Kansas City.
Ghana, despite already booking a place for the round of 32, lost to Croatia in the final game in Group L.
Jordan Ayew, captain of the 2010 quarter-finalists, is inspired and pumped up ahead of the show, affirming that the team will show up.
Meaning, the team will put up a performance to be proud of with the aim of knocking out the South Americans.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game, Ayew stated, “Tomorrow is going to be a big game. Everyone has to show up. So, let’s wait and see tomorrow. But I’m pretty confident it’s an attribute for us because I think that under pressure, the boys will flourish.”
The match will kick off at 01:30 AM GMT and will be live on Max TV.
